Bed and Breakfast with fantastic views of the port of Charlestown. 

Coastguard House is situated in the historic 18th century village of Charlestown which has a working port.  A number of sailing ships are frequently moored in the harbour.  The area has been the location for a number of period dramas for film and television.

Situated on the south coast of Cornwall, just over a mile from St. Austell within easy reach of the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.  Charlestown is an ideal base from which to explore Cornwall.

 

Bedrooms and ensuite with shower, wash basin and WC and have magnificent sea views.  TV, tea and coffee making facilities are provided in each room.  There is a choice of twin beds or double beds.
 
Coastguards has ample car parking facilities for guests.
 
Breakfast is the only meal provided but there are a number of excellent restaurants within walking distance.

Charlestown is situated off the A390 to the south east of St. Austell and is well sign-posted.  Follow the directions to Charlestown, down the hill and past the Rashleigh Arms public house and on to the western (right hand) side of the harbour.
 
Coastguards House is situated on the cliff top behind the Harbourside Inn and the Pier House Hotel and is reached by a private road, Coastguard Lane, turning right immediately before the Harbourside Inn.
